Corbyn Riddell, a Glen Allen native, is a current vet student at Virginia Tech. She earned her B.S. in Animal and Poultry Sciences from Virginia Tech in 2011. She started riding when she was about six years old. In addition to riding horses, Corbyn enjoys hiking, kayaking, and traveling to Rally Obedience trials with one of her rescue dogs, Chip.
Alexis Jacobsen is the daughter of Andi and is a rising senior at Midlothian High School. She has Been with Mesa Vista for over 5 years. She Hopes to attend Virginia Tech and study veterinary medicine or physical therapy. She is Great with kids and loves to ride just for fun.
Ava Furbee came to Mesa Vista 4 years ago. She assists in helping with therapeutic riding, stable duties and camps. She showed a Mesa Vista pony named Sophie in 2013 and became a Reserve Champion in the GRHSA. She is showing Sophie currently in 2014. Ava's passions are pony, pony, ponies. She is referred to as the "Pony Kid". She is currently a rising 8th grader at Powhatan.
Ella Wolfe came to Mesa Vista as a student in 2013. She enjoyed being at the farm and became a helper in the therapeutic program. She also assists with the care and feeding when here and is a camp counselor. Ella is a rising 8th grader in Powhatan.
Katie Zube is a 2014 graduate of James River High School and avid horse lover. She and her pony Grendel show very successfully winning many championships.
Sarah Zube, rising 9th grader at James River High School and avid horse lover. She and her horse Noon show very successfully winning many championships.
Susan Zube, mother of Katie and Sarah, avid horse lover and great riding coach. These great ladies assist with chores and exercising our ponies.
Ella Johnson, 15, Rising Sophomore at Hermitage High School, avid horse person, has been volunteering for a year every Saturday assisting with chores and therapeutic riders.
Rachael Stacey, 14, rising Freshman at James River High School, avid horse person, has been volunteering for a year every Saturday assisting with chores and therapeutic riders.
Jamie Fontenot, 2014 Home-Schooled graduate, avid horse person and has been with MVT for three years. Along with assisting with chores and therapy clients she also is a camp counselor. Most days you will find her with her horse Skip at home.
